We're proud to provide expert tree care services to our region, and we love sharing our knowledge of native trees, pests, and diseases with homeowners that want the best for their property. That's why we offer free consultations to our clients throughout the Driftless, covering everything from tree identification to plant healthcare, as well as recommendations for pruning and removals as needed.
We also work diligently to mitigate tree disease spread throughout the Driftless, so we treat and cut certain tree species at certain times of year. If you're not sure whether to keep or remove a tree that's failing, we'll diagnose the issue, provide an honest risk assessment, and help you choose the best course of action for your property.

Working in the Kickapoo Valley
Because of the closeness to the Kickapoo River, there are a greater variety of lowland trees in La Farge and Viola, including silver maples, river birch, and swamp white oak. While the river is important for biodiversity, the moisture in the valley can also make trees more prone to fungal diseases and flood damage. When we evaluate your trees during a consultation, we'll show you what to be on the lookout for and give recommendations for prevention and treatment if needed.

To care for soft lawns, we invest in equipment that is gentle and use techniques to preserve your landscape. For example, we use an Avant articulating loader which is more akin to a large lawnmower than a traditional skid steer to avoid making unsightly tracks. We also take trees down piece by piece, lowering each section of wood to the ground with ropes to avoid denting your lawn.

We're often are called to prune dangerous limbs or remove leaning trees off of steep hillsides overtop of homes, businesses, and outbuildings. In these instances, we use ropes and pulleys to safely route the brush and wood away from your buildings.
Wherever your trees are in the Kickapoo Valley, we'll care for them as if they were our own.
